One of our recent  Instagram posts   that did particularly well was a short, educational reel divulging what specifically sets Winona’s hormone replacement therapy apart from that of everyday OB-GYNS. Of course, the answer is that we provide bioidentical hormones resembling a naturally occurring bodily process. We use the purest possible form of hormone pills, patches and creams, and all treatment regimes are based on a person’s individual symptoms and medical history.

All that aside, I think it’s important for every brand to promote what sets them apart from their competitors. Customers are always wondering, “What can this brand give me that others can’t?” Answer the question for them in an honest and transparent way.

A “healthy aging tutorial” we posted on Instagram reels

It included tips like, “find more adventure” and “eat more colors.” (Of course, we also snuck our health supplement in the mix). The brief video featured a customer going through her day doing the activities mentioned in a fun and carefree way. We speculate that it performed so well because of its relatable feel. In the video, upbeat music plays in the background as an everyday person partakes in habits geared toward longevity and vitality. That’s exactly what our target audience is interested in!

Our contest post took the cake

Our most successful Instagram post featured a picture of our products that promoted a special giveaway we were having. To enter, users had to like the post, follow our account and comment with their new years resolution and tag a friend for them to do the same. They could also earn a bonus entry by sharing the post to their story. Before long, likes and comments went through the roof. We learned that contests are a great way to drive post engagement and gain new followers.

I created my most successful instagram post by engaging in hashtags. I used hashtags that were the most popular and sent them to drive more traffic to the post. I also engaged in the most recent pics on my timeline before posting this way when I post the user's support. The best advice I would give to other influencers is to also show love and support back. You can expect someone to support your content and youre not showing reciprocation.

We don’t have crazy large numbers when it comes to followers, but we’ve seen modest increases in our numbers including the number of likes and comments we see on each post.

It did well for a few reasons (I think):

  • (1) It’s a bright photo that has a few different elements: the concrete ground, the product (which we are known for), and the sky as well.
  • (2) I think the number of products in the photo makes people take a second look. It isn’t a straightforward image with one product centered with nothing behind it, it’s a little bit more.
  • (3) We used some good hashtags which helped this photo get viewed by more people and reach new audiences. This is obviously important and can help get your photo to new people, which will increase followers, engagement levels, and reach.
  • (4) Keep the main text short. We don’t ramble on too long as we know attention spans are short, so we say what we need to and wrap it up.

A combination of these things helps us get our content viewed and liked (with a few comments as well) by more people. We are slowly building our page, and this combination of things on Instagram helps us get there!

If you're in the Central Time Zone, try posting between 10:00 AM CST and 6:00 PM CST (the most active hours). And if you're in the Pacific Time Zone, try posting between 11:00 AM PST and 7:00 PM PST (the most active hours).

Another thing to keep in mind is who else is posting at that moment. The more people who are posting during a certain time of day, the more likely it is that your post will be seen. So if you're trying to reach people who are in their office at 9:00 AM EST and there's a lot of competition for their attention, try posting later in the day instead when fewer people are on social media.

Since we work remotely, we have the opportunity to work in some amazing places which can be hard to believe.

If you want to increase engagement and curiosity of your followers, you need to post pictures and videos that peak their interest because it doesn’t seem real. It makes your audience want to learn more, and they start to engage more with your content in order to keep up with your adventures!
